I’m here to tell you that all you’ve heard about me is true. Yes, I’m a Sol food addict. The new location rocks: the food, the familiar music, the all too inviting Caribbean country side kitchen. The only thing? Sell alcohol for crying out loud! In fact, here’s my recommendation to Sol (don’t any of you go taking credit for it): rent the upstairs of the green building. Have a stairway go up to what will be a bar/lounge with live music, couches, a small dancing area and of course, a bar.

Sol Food has a larger restaurant open on 701 Lincoln one block away from the smaller restaurant. Both are open. Both menus are identical. The hours for both are the same.The new restaurant has been open for about five weeks. There are some large commununal tables with benches and a few smaller tables. There’s a nice friendly feel to the place.
