So… here are three movies that, for one reason or the other, won’t make it to my list of faves. Posting them here so I don’t forget I saw them and end up renting them!
Fracture: love Anthony Hopkins and his impeccable acting. Really enjoyed Gosling’s constant grabbing of hair, giving scenes an extra-dramatic touch. However, this movie went exactly as I expected it to go. No surprise element made it kinda bland.
Disturbia: your typical psycho meets teenager movie. Yawn!
Hot Fuzz: I can’t believe www.rottentomatoes.com gave this 88%! Very funny at first, the flick turns slow, cliche and predictable soon after. RT suggests going intoxicated to see it. I went cold sober and couldn’t agree more.
$30 dollars later. If there was ever a case for Netflix (NASD: NFLX), this line up would be it!
