The single life – revisited

I cracked up reading this post from “Charming, but single”. Most will likely agree that meeting someone’s relationship expectations and getting another to meet your own is about as challenging as crossing your middle toe fingers. Click on the link if you want to laugh.

Professionalism is the key to attracting decent suitors « Charming, but single

Dear Sir –

Thank you for your time several Saturdays ago. I enjoyed speaking with you about your life and how my skills and experience would fit with your unmet relationship needs. Your bold vision for the future, coupled with your very cute smile and height, makes you exactly the kind of man to whom I’d like to offer my services.

Thank you for bringing this post to my attention. How wonderful – and very funny – and altogether too apt!
Strangely, crossing my middle toes is something I can do whereas contorting myself to accomodate a relationship seems utterly beyond me. Perhaps I should have spent less time playing with my toes as a child and more time developing ‘people skills’ :-P
