Today I woke up, got dressed up in bright holiday colors and did my makeup. Tuned my itunes to one of many holiday radio and started to cook. Dressed up the dinner table with holiday colors and candles, invited some friends over and got in the holiday spirit. So many things to be thankful for! So many blessings:
A warm home
and fireplace
a Xmas tree, pre-lit
candles and light
music and songs
and a loving smile
to share in the joy.
Abundance of food
a great recipe
life growing within, and without
a president-elect
hope that next year will be better
a jar full of fruit
a room full of art
a heart full of joy
and gratitude alike
for blessed we are
in more ways than one.
